Former SPCO Director of Artistic Planning to start as NY Phil VP Artistic Planning

Many SPCO audience members will remember The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra’s former Director of Artistic Planning, Patrick Castillo. Patrick was recently appointed to a new role as Vice President of Artistic Planning at the New York Philharmonic after having previously served as an artistic planning consultant and Senior Director of Artistic Planning for the organization.

Castillo served as SPCO’s Director of Artistic Planning for seasons 2010.11 through 2012.13. A composer, performer, writer and educator, he is remembered by many at the SPCO for his multifaceted approach to music and artistic expression, and his illuminating program notes and pre-concert discussions.
