Tchaikovsky, served with local beer

Chamber orchestras are notable for their versatility—both musical and logistical. Through the years, we’ve played in many of the world’s great concert halls. And we’ve played in the Metrodome… which wasn’t exactly known for fine acoustics. In between, we’ve taken our music to schools, parks, senior communities, private homes, and even the state prison.

But we’ve never performed in a brewery.

On September 27, we’ll change that by offering a unique concert experience at Flat Earth Brewing in Saint Paul. An SPCO sextet will perform Tchaikovsky’s stunning Souvenir de Florence in Flat Earth’s historic tap room, where you’ll be able to enjoy the music while sampling local beer. After the concert, you’ll have an opportunity to tour the brewery and sample more delicious beer.

There are only 100 tickets for this concert, and we expect it to sell out quickly.

We know that many of our fans love great music and have been known to enjoy a beer from time to time. Why not combine them?
