How to watch an SPCO performance on the big screen

Using an HDMI cable

1. In order to view a performance on your TV, Sign In on a laptop computer and choose the performance you want to view/hear.

2. Connect your laptop to your TV or home theater stereo receiver via an HDMI cable (pictured here).
Insert one end into the port on your laptop, usually found on the side near the charging port. Insert the other end into your TV or receiver. On TVs, the connector is typically located behind the screen.

HDMI cord

3. Change the TV’s input setting to HDMI. The TV should now have the same image as what appears on your laptop screen.

Please note that you cannot navigate the Concert Library webpage with your TV remote – this can only be done by using your laptop.

If your TV does not show the same image and/or if there is no audio, ensure that the cable is inserted all the way. Consult your TV’s user manual if problems continue to arise with the image or sound.

Using AirPlay

If you own an Apple TV or recent Roku device as well as a device running the Safari browser, you can use AirPlay to watch on your screen. Start watching a concert in the Concert Library app on your mobile device, then cast it to the television through your Apple TV or Roku device by selecting the AirPlay option. (Please note that this is a relatively new option and may not be as reliable as a direct HDMI connection.)
