Music of Our Times
Celebrating Women in the Orchestral World
Brazilian American composer, pianist, vocalist and educator Clarice Assad, conductor Chia-Hsuan Lin and SPCO musician Alicia McQuerrey join SPCO Chief Community Value Officer Erin Jude in a dynamic conversation about how their identity as a woman has influenced their voice in orchestral music and their career paths. These three inspiring artists will share a bit about themselves and offer advice to young women identifying musicians considering a career in music. The artists will answer questions from attendees during a Q & A session following the panel discussion.
