The Next Stage Campaign

Today the SPCO has a unique opportunity to serve the Twin Cities community at a profound level by building on the tangible success of recent initiatives:

  • A historical commitment to expanding access to our concerts by offering extremely affordable tickets – currently, over 50% of tickets are sold for $12 or less – and by performing at an expanding number of venues throughout the Twin Cities, including non-traditional venues
  • The opening of the new Concert Hall at the Ordway Center in 2015 – an acoustically superb venue that is already transforming the concert experience for our audience
  • The addition of several outstanding new musicians, and a commitment to recruiting and auditioning the finest musicians worldwide
  • Aggressively pursuing new possibilities for bringing music to more people through free digital media, as well as through new and non-traditional venues and programs throughout the broader community
  • A commitment to continuing to build on and strengthen a sound financial platform

Through The Next Stage Campaign, we hope to expand the resources not only to maintain our current level of accessibility and artistic excellence, but to expand our capacity to serve more people from all parts of this community. We want to build an SPCO that always offers riveting performances and that reflects the entire community we are proud to serve.
