Frequently Asked Questions

What is the SPCO Audience Match?
The SPCO Audience Match is a new fundraising initiative encouraging recent SPCO donors to inspire fellow SPCO audience members to make a new gift to the SPCO. Between February 24 and March 31, 2018, recent Annual Fund donors made increased gifts and pledges to encourage audience members to join them in supporting the SPCO. From now until June 30, new gifts to the SPCO will be matched dollar for dollar by these donors up to $40,000! Gifts of all sizes matter!

Donations from audience members are the SPCO’s largest and most important source of support—Thank you!

What gifts count for the SPCO Audience Match?
There are several ways to contribute to the SPCO Audience Match.

For new SPCO audience members making a new gift between April 15 and June 30, 2018:
Make a new gift of any size—a one-time gift, recurring monthly Sustainer gift, or a pledge—and the full amount of your new gift or pledge will be matched by the support of recent SPCO donors. To learn more about the ways to give, visit thespco.org/contribute.

If you set up a new monthly Sustainer gift, your total giving through the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2018) will be matched. For example, if you give $10 per month in May and June, your total $20 will be matched!

Are you a member of club2030? Make a new gift of any size between April 15 and June 30, and your gift will be matched by $100!

Where does my gift go?
100% of your gift will go to the SPCO’s 2017.18 Annual Fund, our largest and most important source of support. Thank you!

Will my SPCO Audience Match contribution be tax deductible?
Yes! The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your entire gift is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What is the SPCO’s fiscal year?
