Ticket Office Associate

STATUS: Part-Time
HOURS: Shifts will consist of a variety of the following:
Weekdays 11:30am-5:00pm
Saturdays 11:00am-3:00pm
Concerts 6:00pm-9:00pm, 12:00pm-2:30pm
Approximately 15-20 hours per week
The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, now in its 56th season, is the nation’s only full-time professional chamber orchestra and is widely regarded as one of the finest chamber orchestras in the world. Renowned for its artistic excellence and remarkable versatility of musical styles, the SPCO is also recognized for its innovative approach to artistic leadership, musician involvement, and commitment to reaching diverse audiences through performances in ten venues throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.

The SPCO is seeking a Ticket Office associate. This position provides customer service and enhances the SPCO’s public image by following customer service policies and procedures while leveraging customer interactions to increase sales for the organization. The primary focus of this position is to process season and single ticket orders and exchanges through phone, mail and walk-up sales, utilizing cross- and up-selling techniques in every interaction. This person will also provide assistance during concerts, and must provide own transportation to and from venues.

The successful candidate should possess a high school diploma. One year of ticketing experience preferred. Excellent computer skills and customer service skills required. Patrons Edge experience preferred. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
