Located less than a half-mile from the Minnesota Zoo, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church is a familiar location to many south metro music-lovers.
From Minneapolis
Take Cedar Ave (Hwy. 77) South (past Mall of America) and into Apple Valley Exit onto County Rd. 38, following the brown and white "Zoo" signs. Head east on County Rd. 38 for 1 mile (you will cross back over Cedar). Go past the zoo entrance to the stop lights at Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn left onto Johnny Cake. The church is on your immediate right.
From St. Paul
Go South on Interstate 35E and exit at Cliff Rd. Turn east (left) onto Cliff Rd. Go 1/2 mile to 3rd stop light at the intersection of Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn right (south) and go 1 1/2 miles. There will be 2 large churches on your left, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church is the second church. If you come to a stop sign (County Rd. 38) you've gone too far.
From Lakeville/Farmington
Take Cedar Ave (Hwy. 77) North to County Rd. 38. Turn left (east) and go 1 mile. Go past the zoo entrance to the stop lights at Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn left onto Johnny Cake. The church is on your immediate right
From Burnsville
Take County Rd. 38 (also know as McAndrews) east toward Apple Valley. Go across Galaxie Ave. to the next intersection of Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn left onto Johnny Cake. The church is on your immediate right.
From Rosemount
Take Highway 3 to County Rd. 38 (watch closely for signs). Turn left (west) and proceed to Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn right onto Johnny Cake. The church is on your immediate right.
